Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of specialty sales experience working in hospital or institutional sales. Prior sales account management experience and knowledge of hospitals, integrated delivery networks or medical groups from working in the pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare or managed care sector strongly desired. Ability to apply business planning approaches to achieve a track record of successful sales results. Skilled in translating how healthcare trends and other business drivers impact customers. Demonstrated ability to analyze data as well as develop, execute and adjust business plans to improve business performance. Track record of building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff and others in the customer influence network. Effectively and appropriately use active listening, probing and other selling skills to enhance communication, build and influence key customers.
